Day Two: Seattle and Mt. Rainier

For those of you who prefer viewing pictures to a story, I’ll let the photos do most of the talking today:

Watching the cruise ships on the Seattle Bay, early morning on a Sunday.

Water falling early morning, peaceful to listen to after a homeless person spooked me. I didn’t even see them on the benches until one started to move. How sad, they were everywhere, a creepy sad feeling. Has anyone tried to help them, I wonder?

Another cruise liner, Norwegian Cruise Line. NCL.

The little sail boat docked and ready to launch.

A self-portrait using a timer on my DSLR. The challenge was to get the angle with me and the mountain both in view.
I succeeded.

The peaceful pond behind the Alexander Cottage Inn. I kept seeing fish leap out of the water. A quiet place to relax and rest after driving all day.

Another water view along the road to Mt. Rainier. Interesting landscapes I do stop for.

A clear view of the Mt. Rainier Mountain in the background.

  1. I’m so glad you got to see Mt Rainier! We saw it 3 separate times and Scott said that it was very unusual. It’s a beautiful place.
