It’s time for Illumination

It’s that time of the year when the Morton Arboretum in Lisle. IL puts on a spectacular displays of lights at dusk, which they call the Illumination. Some displays dance with the music and others are controlled by the viewer. It’s definitely a show worth seeing. Last years event was drive-through only but this year it is is back to walking along the paths and being amazed by the illumination in front of your eyes.

These photographs were taken just at the magic hour before the event started. Here is a taste:

Lighting up the grass
Lights and shining lanterns
Giant bulbs are ever a changing color display
Enchanted forest
Looking up
Light up the world
Cool colors change before your eyes
Man made leaf & tree changes colors
The geometric treee

This event sells out fast. There are tents to warm up in along the path and to buy hot chocolate or other refreshments. A favorite for every age. Definetly a show to see more than once.

Happy Shooting and stay warm if you live where snow is in your forecast.

Shot with a Fuji X-T4/ 16-55, lens. The camera I had with me. 😉
